Missing baseball? Or, maybe you’re so turned off by the current dispute between the players and the owners about the plan to resume play that you vow to boycott MLB when it does. Regardless, if you’re a baseball fan, you likely need your fix of America’s pastime by now.
Wednesday night at 7:30 ET, join Patrick Sauer and David Roth for another edition of Squawkin’ Sports. This week’s show features Eric Nusbaum, author of Stealing Home: Los Angeles, the Dodgers, and the Lives Caught in Between, a new book that details how Dodger Stadium, one of the most iconic parks in baseball, came to be built despite fierce neighborhood opposition.
Nusbaum is a writer and the former editor at VICE. His work has appeared in Sports Illustrated, ESPN the Magazine, The Daily Beast, and Deadspin.
Show host Sauer penned The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the American Presidents, but he’s first and foremost a sports junkie. He’s been published in The New York Times, GQ, Esquire, and several other prestigious publications. Co-host Roth, meanwhile, has authoring credits that include The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian.
