Ladies and Gents, It’s time once again for another edition of “Eag Bowl” and I couldn’t be more terrified. Philly hosts Seattle on Monday Night Football—a game that will feature the best and worst play at the quarterback position.
On one end of the spectrum we have Russell Wilson, who leads the NFL with 30 touchdown passes and because running backs Chris Carson and Travis Homer are sidelined due to injury—Russ is the team’s leading rusher with 367 yards on 55 carries and 1 touchdown. Is this might be the year that Russ breaks through and wins MVP?—or hell, at the very least get one vote!! #howdoesthathappen? Oh yea, DK Metcalf—he’s still on the team. FML.
On the complete polar opposite, dark side of the moon-type different—I present Carson Wentz. A man who appears to have regressed into a player Eagnation hasn’t seen. Just like Russell Wilson, Wentz is a league leader—in sacks and interceptions *face palm* Wentz is in the cellar among the likes of Mitch Trubisky, Nick Mullens and Joe Flacco and/or Sam Darnold (their shittiness is interchangeable.) Oh yea, his season QBR is…44.5 #puke.
Dare I say Wentz is coming down with a serious case of the Yips. He is so deep in his head. He is spiraling out of control with nothing to hold on to. #yikes.
Despite all the madness swirling around this team—the Eags are still the “cream of the crop” in the NFC East. LOL. Philly currently finds themselves in 2nd place behind the Washington Squad. Washington vaulted to the head of the class by thrashing Dallas on Turkey Day 41-16. Washington is now 4-7 on the season and for thr moment, in the drivers seat of the division.
Defensively, the Eags may be able to hold their own. The Eags are allowing 122 yards less than Seattle—the duo of Metcalf and Lockett is going to give the secondary fits—cmon, Schwartz!!! Scheme up something good!!
Philly’s road to the playoffs, while gross and slime covered, was in there for the taking—instead they’ve decided to violently diarrhea in the bed. Losing to thr Giants and Browns leading up to this week was not part of the plan. The Eags were supposed to sweep the season series with New York THEN lose to Cleveland, Seattle, Green Bay and New Orleans. I think they will beat Arizona—i just have a feeling—and then win the last two games of the year beating Dallas and Washington. But Noooooo!! Go lose to New York and mess up this entire plan!!
All this being said, I love this team and I will go down with the ship. A lot of “fans” have written off Wentz and are begging for Jalen Hurts—WHY!!? All that will do is signal to the team and the rest of the league that the Wags have given up. Nah!!! We are in the thick of a divisional race!! Lol. The Eags will host a playoff game while winning 5-6 games in the regular season. Double LOL.
Eagles vs. Seahawks Unbiased Prediction
I believe. Eags win 23-17.
